Cocoon Collectables @ DESIGN ICONS 2023

75 quality dealers from all over Europe will return to Amsterdam on April 1 + 2 for Design Icons 2023, bringing their finest vintage design pieces from the 1930s – 1980s. A diversity of interior objects will be offered for sale to both professionals and broad public: from well-known classics to anonymous designs, with Eames next to Mies van der Rohe and from Italian-chic to raw industrials.

Cocoon Collectables welcomes you at booth number 47.

Design Icons Amsterdam takes place annually in the beautiful venue of De Kromhouthal. This former marine engine factory has been restored into a charming event location. Situated on the North shore of ’t IJ, there is a beautiful view to the city center. The industrial atmosphere of De Kromhouthal is the ideal setting to showcase the design icons of the past century.

Finished project by Sander van Eyck – COCOON LIVING

In the former port area of Westerdok in Amsterdam, Sander van Eyck (Cocoon Living) designed the interior of a 160m2 city apartment. Typical Space Age design by ‘t Spectrum

Just in, a complete three-part set of the BZ28/29 by Gerd Lange for ‘t Spectrum, 1970. This typical Space Age design by ‘t Spectrum in the 1970s is in good vintage condition. One rarely finds these pieces in such condition with the original moulded plastic armrests. This set has its original white velvet upholstery, to keep is as original as possible. The curved and bulky shapes specify the space age era.
