Mid-Century Modern armchairs in the style of Giancarlo Piretti, 1980s, set of 2

These lounge chairs strongly remind of Giancarlo Piretti’s ‘Alky’ lounge chair (1969), yet they feature characteristic differences. Whereas the ‘Alky’ lounge chair is armrest-less, this version is equipped with characteristic armrests. Like Piretti, also the designer of this version finished the legs with a solid frame to provide a strong line and strengthen the vivid look.

The chairs have their original high-quality “Van der Ploeg” upholstery.
