Pair of Mid-Century low chairs, 1960s

Exquisite set of 1970s French-designed low chairs crafted from beautiful vintage black faux leather. Reminiscent of the “Samurai” low chairs by Joseph André Motte, these pieces bear resemblance to those stamped Mobilier International, although they lack specific markings. Inspired by the low seats created for Orly Airport in the 1970s.

The chairs show some minor imperfections in the faux leather due to age and use. The chrome work displays a beautiful patina.
