Jan Michielsen (1939 – Breda 9 / February 2010) was a Dutch graphic artist and painter. Jan Michielsen was educated at the Academy for Visual Arts Sint-Joost. He also taught there until 1980. He lived and worked at the Havermarkt and in the Ginneken. In 1965 he received the Sint Joostpenning. Jan Michielsen painted realistic paintings with the atmosphere of the Dutch Masters from the Golden Age. He painted (among other things) still lifes.
