Dining armchairs in solid beechwood by Rainer Daumiller for Hirtshals, 1970s (SOLD)
Wonderful set of two very sculptural dining room chairs in beeche wood by Swedish architect and designer Rainer Daumiller, manufactured by Hirtshalls Sawmills. Notice the beautifully carved organic lines of the seats and the general natural feel of the grained beech-wood. The set is very well crafted and has a beautiful patina having been made from quality Scandinavian beech. Daumiller’s style resembles the work of Charlotte Perriand, whilst also bearing it’s own unique appearance. Price per piece.
